External press reports revealed that Al-Ahly Club has begun official negotiations to sign Omar Fayed, the Turkish Fenerbahçe player, during the current summer transfer window.
Turkish newspaper Fanatik reported that Fenerbahçe recently received an offer from Al-Ahly to sign defender Omar Fayed during the current transfer period.
The report indicated that Al-Ahly informed Fenerbahçe’s management of its desire to secure the services of the 23-year-old defender, as the Turkish club seeks to reorganize its squad and settle the future of several players ahead of the new season.
This comes as Fenerbahçe continues to bolster its ranks with new signings, while also assessing the future of some players who may depart the team during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Fanatik noted that there is also interest in the Egyptian Omar Fayed from clubs in the Turkish Süper Lig and some European teams, with the player and the club expected to make a decision regarding his future in the near future.
Omar Fayed joined Fenerbahçe in 2023 from Al-Mokaweloun Al-Arab, but he has not made any official appearances for the Turkish club and has spent the past period on loan at several clubs, including Novi Pazar in Serbia, Beerschot in Belgium, and Arouca in Portugal.
