Manchester City player Antoine Semenyo praised the style of his new coach Enzo Maresca, confirming that it suits his way of playing and gives him great freedom inside the pitch.

Semenyo said via BBC: "When he was appointed, that was the first thing I thought of, because the wingers in his teams are always advanced and have great freedom."
He added, "This is what excites me the most; as a winger, I will get one-on-one situations throughout the match, and that's something I'm looking forward to."
He continued, "I held individual sessions with him to explain the playing style, and I believe his ideas are great and very similar to Pep Guardiola's ideas."
He stressed, "My role is clear: stay on the flanks, and when the ball reaches me, create chances, and this style is music to my ears."
Semenyo delivered a standout performance during Manchester City's match against Inter, despite the loss on penalties, as he contributed to creating his team's goal.
For his part, Maresca praised the winger and other players, confirming his preference for attacking wingers who rely on individual duels.
Semenyo joined Manchester City from Bournemouth during the last winter transfer window, in a deal worth £65 million.
The player said, "I owe Bournemouth everything; they helped me develop greatly in the Premier League."
He also revealed his conversation with Pep Guardiola before his transfer, saying, "He told me he would make me a better player, and he has indeed helped me a lot over the past months."
He concluded his remarks: "My faith comes first; I wouldn't be here without it, and I always strive to give my best."
Semenyo played 68 minutes in Manchester City's friendly draw with Inter before the penalty shootout loss.
