Scottish journalist Josh McCafferty praised the abilities of Egypt national team star Haissem Hassan following his performance with Celtic today during their match against Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership, noting that the right winger deserved a standing ovation from his team's fans.
Haissem Hassan made his first official start for Celtic against Falkirk, where Celtic secured a 2-1 victory.
Hassan delivered an outstanding performance, leading his team to victory before being substituted in the 63rd minute, receiving warm applause from the Celtic supporters present at Celtic Park.

McCafferty, in statements reported by the 'celticway' website and via his official account on the 'X' platform, believes that Celtic fans will soon fall in love with Haissem Hassan.
McCafferty said: "Haissem Hassan is a very promising player; he is a traditional winger whom Celtic fans will grow to love over time."
He added: "Haissem Hassan possesses exceptional technical skills and did not hesitate to showcase them whenever the opportunity arose. He skillfully dribbled past opposing players, successfully reached the penalty area, and delivered several dangerous crosses. Ultimately, he fully deserved the standing ovation he received from Celtic fans upon his substitution, when James Forrest came on in his place."

Celtic signed Haissem Hassan during the current summer transfer window from Real Oviedo for approximately €7 million, on a four-season contract running until June 2030, with an option to extend for a fifth season.
