Al Ahly Club meets its counterpart Team FC this evening in a new friendly match for the Red Devils, following their victory over Smouha last night in the Egyptian Premier League.

A source within the Red Fortress confirmed that there is a tendency among head coach Hossam Amouta to continue playing friendly matches between official fixtures throughout the season.
This approach stems from Amouta's desire to maintain the readiness of all his players, especially those who do not participate regularly in matches.
This match is Al Ahly's second friendly since the start of the current season, after defeating Delfi 2-1 last Saturday.
