Lionel Scaloni, the technical director of the Argentine national team, spoke about the Switzerland match, which took place today, Sunday, within the competitions of the 2026 World Cup, explaining that his team faced difficulty in imposing its style during the match.
The Argentine national team defeated its Swiss counterpart (3-1), in the match that took place between the two teams, within the quarter-final competitions of the World Cup, and the match was held on the grounds of Kansas City Stadium.
Scaloni's statements
Lionel Scaloni, coach of the Argentine national team, began his statements during the press conference after the Switzerland match, saying: "We faced an opponent who pressed us hard, it was difficult to pass the balls smoothly, this is the truth".
