TYC network reported that there might be some changes to Argentina's lineup against Egypt, especially after the struggle in the match against Cape Verde in the round of 32.
The report indicated that the final lineup will not be definitively known until after the closed training session on Sunday before traveling to Atlanta. It is not expected that there will be many changes at the moment, but there will likely be one change per line, with a maximum of three changes; it is unlikely that there will be more than that.
The report explained that Scaloni is considering deploying Tagliafico in the left-back position after Facundo Medina's injury in the match against Cape Verde.
There will also be a change in the midfield during the match against Egypt, which is either deploying Leandro Paredes and Nico Gonzalez together or deploying one of them to regain control again.
The report stated that Julian Alvarez will return to the starting lineup after regaining some of his fitness, and he is expected to be deployed at the expense of Lautaro Martinez.
The Argentina national team had narrowly overcome Cape Verde in the round of 32 match, where the match went into extra time and ended with a score of 3-2.
