Al-Riyadh Saudi club is considering withdrawing from the deal to sign Al-Ahly player Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet.

Al-Riyadh was close to completing the agreement regarding signing Trezeguet starting from next season.
According to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh, the management of Al-Riyadh club is seriously considering backing out and withdrawing from negotiations with Al-Ahly regarding the signing of Trezeguet.
The Saudi newspaper attributed the reason to the lack of clarity on the financial requirements related to the deal, in addition to the delay in finalizing it from the Egyptian side, which prompted the club not to continue the talks according to the same report.
Al-Riyadh Saudi club entered into serious negotiations with Al-Ahly to sign the Egyptian international Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet".
The 31-year-old winger is linked to a contract with Al-Ahly that extends until the summer of 2030.
Trezeguet joined Al-Ahly in the last summer transfer window coming from Turkish Trabzonspor.
Trezeguet was formed at Al-Ahly before leaving for several experiences outside Egypt.
Trezeguet participated in 32 matches during the past season with Al-Ahly, scoring 18 goals and providing one assist.
The 31-year-old player won the top scorer award in the African Champions League for the past season by scoring 6 goals.
