Saudi Arabia will host the next three editions of the AFC Champions League Elite finals, after the AFC Executive Committee confirmed granting the Kingdom permanent hosting rights for the tournament in the mentioned editions.
Saudi Arabia hosted the quarter-final, semi-final and final matches in a centralized format in one city in the first two editions of the tournament, since the restructuring of Asia's top club competitions ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
Al-Ahli Saudi won the title in the two occasions the city hosted the finals, after defeating Japan's Kawasaki in 2025, then another Japanese side, Machida Zelvia, last May.
The next edition of the continent's premier tournament will see the number of teams participating in the league stage expanded from 24 to 32.
The preliminary rounds begin on 11 August, while the league stage draw will be held in Kuala Lumpur on the 18th of the same month, with matches starting on 14 September.
