Samsunspor submitted a request to the Turkish Football Federation regarding the timing of their league match against Trabzonspor.
Trabzonspor will face Samsunspor on October 10 in the seventh round of the Turkish Super Lig.
Samsunspor objected to the Turkish Football Federation regarding matches scheduled for 4:00 PM.
Following fan reactions concerning the timing of the Black Sea derby, Samsunspor Vice President and Executive Board Member Fazlıhan Karus stated that the club had applied for permission to change the time not only for the Trabzonspor match but for all matches scheduled at 4:00 PM.
Karus, a member of Samsunspor's board, said: "We have objected to scheduling all our matches at 4:00 PM, and we are awaiting a response from the Turkish Football Federation."
Mohamed Salah is preparing to feature for Trabzonspor in the match against Samsunspor after an absence due to the international break.
Before the international break, Mohamed Salah led Trabzonspor to a comprehensive victory over Galatasaray, winning four-nil.
Trabzonspor currently sits sixth in the Turkish Super Lig standings with 10 points.
