Trabzonspor of Turkey has been eliminated from the UEFA Europa League at the qualifying stage after losing 5-0 on aggregate to Hungary's Ferencváros.
Ferencváros had previously defeated their hosts, Trabzonspor, 1-0 in last Thursday's first-leg match of the Europa League final qualifying round at Papara Park.
Salah exits the Europa League after 153 minutes with Trabzonspor
The Hungarian team returned tonight to repeat their victory over the Turkish side, winning the second leg 4-0.
The Egyptian player featured for a total of 153 minutes across both matches.
The Egyptian star will now make his debut in the UEFA Conference League, as clubs eliminated from the Europa League qualifiers drop into the Conference League.
The Conference League draw includes 24 teams advancing through the qualifying rounds and 12 teams that lost in the Europa League qualifiers.
The draws for both the Europa League and the Conference League will take place tomorrow evening, Friday.
