Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, trusted for transfer and signing news, revealed new developments regarding Rodri's transfer to Real Madrid club during the current summer transfer window.
Real Madrid club plans to restructure the team by reinforcing the squad's needs according to the plan followed by Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.
Numerous previous reports have linked Real Madrid club with signing Spanish international Rodri, captain of the Spain national team and Manchester City player.
Romano said via his YouTube channel that player Rodri has a strong desire to wear the Real Madrid club shirt.

He confirmed that the player, crowned with the 2026 World Cup, has no objection to joining the Spanish club's ranks and is excited about the move.
He noted that despite contacting the player's agents to understand the current situation, Real Madrid club has not yet submitted any official offer to Manchester City.
He stressed that Real Madrid board members are awaiting Florentino Perez's approval to proceed with officially signing the player.
He concluded that the deal largely depends on when Perez tells the management to go ahead and sign Rodri, something that has not happened yet.
