Journalist Fabrizio Romano, trusted for transfer and contract news, revealed developments in Liverpool's signing of an alternative to Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah.
Mohamed Salah left the first-team squad at Liverpool Football Club after the end of last season due to a dispute between him and Dutch coach Arne Slot, who also departed the team.
Liverpool wants to compensate for the departure of one of the club's most important legends in its history, especially with a new era for the team under the leadership of Spanish coach Andoni Iraola.

Romano said via his account on the social media platform "X" that Bradley Barcola, Paris Saint-Germain player, wants to join Liverpool.

He stated that the two parties have not yet agreed on the financial matters to conclude the deal, despite Liverpool's management viewing Barcola as a priority for the Reds' new project.
Romano concluded that the coming days will witness intensive negotiations from the player's side, and the deal for his transfer to the 20-time English league champion historically will be concluded.
