Juventus club has withdrawn from the idea of signing Emiliano "Dibu" Martinez, Aston Villa's goalkeeper, during the current summer transfer window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
According to Romano, Juventus informed Aston Villa's management of its decision not to proceed with the deal, following an internal review conducted by the club over the past few days.

The report explained that the Italian club views the financial cost of completing the signing of the Argentine goalkeeper as very high, which led it to definitively drop the deal.
Martinez had been linked with a move to Juventus amid the Italian club's search to bolster the goalkeeper position, before it withdrew its interest due to the required financial compensation.
Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti spoke about the possibility of signing the Argentine goalkeeper, saying: "Emiliano Martinez is a player who wants to move this summer, and we are looking for competition in the goalkeeper position."
He added, "We already have two goalkeepers at the moment."
Previous reports had indicated that Juventus had not yet approached the financial value requested by Aston Villa to approve the sale of Martinez.
Martinez's contract with Aston Villa runs until the summer of 2029, giving the English club a strong negotiating position in the event of any official offers.
Thus, the Argentine goalkeeper remains with Aston Villa for the time being, while Juventus continues to search for other options to strengthen its squad before the transfer window closes.
