The report clarified that Mingueza was the first and secret target of Crystal Palace's management to strengthen the backline, before succeeding in finalizing all the details of the agreement.
The report indicated that all the terms were agreed upon during the last 48 hours, making the deal settled, with the Spanish defender set to join Crystal Palace's ranks in preparation for the new season.
