A Romanian press report revealed that Pyramids Club made a huge financial offer to sign the Palestinian Asad Al-Hamlawi, striker of the Romanian club Craiova.
Pyramids is seeking to bolster its attacking line and compensate for the departure of its Congolese top scorer Fiston Mayele.
According to the Romanian website TRUmedia, Pyramids submitted an offer worth 5 million euros to sign the Palestinian Asad Al-Hamlawi, player of Craiova club, and negotiations between the two clubs have reached an advanced stage.
The same report clarified that the current dispute concerns the bonus that Craiova club will receive based on the number of matches the player will play with his new team.
The Romanian report stressed that if things proceed smoothly, the official announcement of the deal is expected by the end of next week.
Al-Hamlawi was previously linked with a move to Al-Ahly, but the deal did not succeed.
Asad Al-Hamlawi transferred to the Romanian club Craiova from the Polish side Śląsk Wrocław in the summer of 2025, and quickly adapted to his new team, becoming one of its most prominent attacking options.
In his first season in Romania, Al-Hamlawi scored 16 goals across all competitions, including 11 goals in 33 Romanian league matches, finishing the season as Craiova's top scorer in the competition.
