Nielto Varga, owner of the Romanian club Cluj, revealed a request to contract with Hossam Abdel Majeed, defender of Zamalek Club.
Hossam Abdel Majeed is receiving interest from some foreign clubs, as he was close to moving to the Bulgarian club Ludogorets.
Varga said in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura: "We sent an offer to Zamalek Club to buy Hossam Abdel Majeed for one million and 300 thousand dollars, and an annual salary for the player of 400 thousand".
He added: "Zamalek has not responded to us yet, so we decided to negotiate with another defender".
Hossam Abdel Majeed participated with the Egyptian national team in the World Cup, where he contributed to qualifying for the round of 16.
Hossam Abdel Majeed's contract with Zamalek Club ends during the next season, June 2027.
