Mauricio Doulac, coach of Al-Riyadh SC, praised the character of Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet," a player on the team, noting that the club allowed him to travel to Egypt to receive treatment.
Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet sustained a hamstring injury during his participation in the match against Al-Khaleej, which was played as part of the Saudi Pro League competitions.
Statements by the Al-Riyadh Coach
Doulac said in statements via "On Sport" channel: "Trezeguet possesses a wonderful character. I met with him and we had a long conversation before he signed his transfer contracts with the team. At that time, I realized he is a remarkable person, and for me, character comes before the player."
The Al-Riyadh coach concluded his remarks: "Trezeguet is currently injured, which is normal after playing 7 or 8 consecutive matches. He received top-level treatment in Egypt, and we permitted him to do so. Upon his return, he will resume work with us to prepare for upcoming matches."
Trezeguet participated alongside Al-Riyadh in 6 matches across various competitions during the current season, totaling 428 minutes, and succeeded in scoring one goal and providing one assist.
Trezeguet joined the ranks of Saudi club Al-Riyadh during last summer's transfer window after terminating his contract with Al-Ahly Club.
