External press reports have revealed the value of the salary that Mohamed Salah, the former English club Liverpool star, is likely to receive upon the official completion of his transfer to the Turkish Trabzonspor.
The Turkish newspaper HT Spor mentioned that Trabzonspor Club has reached an agreement with the Egyptian Mohamed Salah to join its ranks, in an anticipated deal that will be one of the most prominent moves in the club's history.
The report indicated that the Trabzonspor administration has concluded its negotiations with Salah after a long period of work in complete secrecy, and the official announcement of the deal and the date of the player's arrival to the city of Trabzon have become a matter of time, pending the completion of the final procedures.
Turkish journalist Hassan Tuncal explained that the value of the deal amounts to 17 million euros, in addition to an additional 5 million euros per season, out of two seasons that Salah will sign with the club, indicating that the club will rely heavily on sponsor support to cover the costs of the deal.
He added that Salah will also receive a specific percentage of the revenues from the sales of his shirts, although the percentage will not exceed 20% to 25%, which means the possibility that the total that the Pharaoh receives from that deal will reach 50 million euros in the two seasons.
As for the Turkish newspaper 61 Hours, it indicated that Trabzonspor agreed to Salah's request, who is spending his vacation on the Greek island of Mykonos, to receive part of the salary in advance out of his keenness to reduce the gap between the two parties.
It is mentioned that Mohamed Salah, who is 34 years old, had left the ranks of Liverpool at the end of the last season, after playing 9 seasons with the Reds, during which he achieved unprecedented individual and collective achievements.
