Attia Allah returned to Wydad's ranks after two years outside the Moroccan club's walls.
The club stated in its announcement: "Wydad Athletic Club announces the official signing of player Yahya Attia Allah, under a contract extending for one season".
It added, "The club welcomes Yahya Attia Allah's return to the first team's ranks, as it counts on his vast experience, technical and physical abilities, along with his deep knowledge of the club's atmosphere and values to provide the desired addition, enhance the group's competitiveness, and contribute to achieving Wydad Athletic's goals and its fans' aspirations".
Attia Allah won the 2022 African Champions League title and the Moroccan League twice with Wydad.
He also played 166 matches, scoring 11 goals and providing 23 assists in all competitions.
Attia Allah left for Russian club Sochi in 2024, then spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Al Ahli before returning to the Russian team last season.
The Moroccan international only played 9 matches, providing a single assist.
At 31 years old, Attia Allah became Wydad's fifth signing for the new season after signing Yahya Jabrane from Emirati club Ajman.
This comes after Wydad announced the signing of Hamza Jannan for 3 seasons and Rachid Ghanimi for 3 seasons.
Wydad also signed Ayman El Hassouni for one season with the possibility of extending for an additional season.
Wydad had also announced the appointment of former team captain Salah Eddine Saidi as the team's sports coordinator.
All of this came after Wydad announced the appointment of Portuguese Paulo Sérgio Brito as the team's technical director.
Wydad will not participate in African club competitions next season, after finishing fifth in the Moroccan League.
