Pyramids FC has received a notification from the Competitions Department of the Professional Clubs League regarding a change in the date of their match against El Gouna, as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The decision to reschedule the match came after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the date for Pyramids' encounter with Kenya's Gor Mahia in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
CAF had set September 6 as the date for Pyramids' match against Gor Mahia, which will be held in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital.
Accordingly, the Professional Clubs League decided to reschedule the Pyramids vs. El Gouna match to take place at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, at the Air Defense Stadium, instead of its original date on Tuesday, September 8.
This rescheduling comes in light of Pyramids' commitment to face Gor Mahia as part of their campaign in the new edition of the CAF Champions League.
