The Egyptian Professional League's competitions committee has decided to reschedule the match between Al Ahly and Smouha in the third round of the first stage of the league.
Al Ahly was originally scheduled to play Smouha on the evening of Tuesday, September 1, at Cairo Stadium.
The league has decided to hold the match on Thursday, September 3, at Cairo Stadium at 8:00 PM, due to the inability to host any matches at Cairo Stadium on September 1 and 2.
The matches for the first round of the new 2026-2027 Egyptian league season will kick off tomorrow, Friday.
Three matches will be played on the first day of the first round, which is spread over three days.
Wadi Degla will face Zed at 5:00 PM.
Meanwhile, Zamalek will play against Al Ittihad Alexandria, and Abu Qir Fertilizers will face Al Bank Al Ahly at 8:00 PM.
