Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid player, wants to stay with the Royals next season.
Many press reports claimed that Vinicius Junior wants to leave Real Madrid, especially after Yan Diomande's imminent joining of the team's ranks.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Vinicius Junior does not link his future with Real Madrid to the joining of Yan Diomande this summer.
The report added that Vinicius Junior intends to renew his contract with Real Madrid, which is the same desire of the club.
The report stated that Vinicius is now demanding about 20 million euros net per season, which is a slight increase (only 5 million euros) compared to what he was receiving after his last contract renewal in 2022.
Vinicius started receiving about 10 million euros after that renewal, and his salary will reach about 18 million euros next season, and the contract included a clause granting him an additional two million euros since winning the FIFA Best Player award.
The report indicated that Vinicius Junior felt somewhat undervalued in the recent period at Real Madrid, despite being a key player in the last two UEFA Champions League titles.
Vinicius Junior's contract ends at the end of next season 2027.
