Press reports revealed the Turkish club Fenerbahçe's plan regarding its current foreign players, including the young Egyptian defender Omar Fayed.
The Turkish newspaper "Fanatik" confirmed that the Turkish club Fenerbahçe is preparing to make extensive changes to the first football team's roster, amid the increase in the number of players and the crisis related to the number of foreign professionals.
It explained that this prompted the administration to devise a plan to dispense with a number of players, whether to ease financial burdens or to make room for new signings before the start of the season.
According to the Turkish newspaper, the technical staff faced major difficulties during the preparation period for the new season due to the large number of players, as head coach Ismail Kartal was forced to divide training into groups and work with players who are not part of his plans for the upcoming season.
It indicated that Fenerbahçe plans to loan the duo Omar Fayed and Serbian defender Ognjen Mimović to give them greater opportunities to play and gain experience.
In contrast, the future of the duo Néné Dorgeles and Sadiki Cherif remains tied to any offers they may receive during the current transfer window, while the club intends to keep Senegalese talent Amara Diouf in the squad.
