Foreign press reports have revealed the imminent transfer of Mohamed Salah, the former English Liverpool star, to the Turkish Super League via Trabzonspor.
Mohamed Salah's name had been linked with the Turkish league over the past weeks, but all reports had pointed to the possibility of him moving to Besiktas, not Trabzonspor, as is currently being circulated.
Turkish journalist Yakup Cinar from Sports Digital revealed that the Egyptian striker has reached an agreement with Trabzonspor to join their ranks during the current summer transfer window.
Cinar indicated via his official Twitter account that Salah has agreed to sign a two-season contract under which he will receive an annual salary of 15 million euros, in addition to performance- and achievement-related bonuses.
Yakup Cinar concluded his statements by confirming that the Trabzonspor administration aims to officially announce the deal on August 2, after completing all contracting procedures.
Mohamed Salah had left Liverpool at the end of last season after a career full of achievements over 9 seasons, during which he secured all possible individual and collective honors.
Mohamed Salah, who is 34 matches old, participated with the Egypt national team in the 2026 World Cup, where he managed to score one goal, against New Zealand.
