Media reports today revealed the possibility of Arne Slot returning to coaching in the coming period, as the Saudi Professional League may become the Dutch coach's next destination.
Slot was dismissed from his position as technical director of Liverpool Club, after two seasons at the head of the technical management of the Reds.
Slot failed to lead Liverpool to win any title during the past season, so he was eventually dismissed from the English club.
The "talkSPORT" network mentioned that Slot is on the list of candidates to coach Al Ahli Jeddah Club, as the Saudi club's management is working to contract with a coach who has great experience in Europe.
Al Ahli Jeddah began searching for a technical director contract in the past hours, after Matthias Jaissle approached leaving the Saudi club to coach Newcastle United, succeeding Eddie Howe.

Slot's name has been linked to coaching several teams in the past period, such as the Netherlands national team, and also Fulham Club, before the latter appointed Álvaro Arbeloa as the new technical director.
Slot has also been linked to coaching AC Milan, which eventually contracted with Ruben Amorim.
Slot is not the only option for Al Ahli Jeddah in the technical director position, as it was reported that the Saudi club is placing Vítor Pereira among the candidates, given his great experience in the Roshn League.
Vítor Pereira previously coached Al Ahli Jeddah in 2013, and has experience with Al Shabab Club during 2024.
Pereira's last coaching stop was with Nottingham Forest Club, before leaving the English club at the end of last June.
