Scottish club Celtic wants to sign Haitham Hassan, the Egyptian professional in the ranks of Spanish Real Oviedo.
Haitham Hassan excelled with the Egyptian national team in the World Cup, despite participating in only two matches.
According to the dailyrecord newspaper, Scottish Celtic and some other clubs want to sign Haitham Hassan this summer.
The report explained that the value of the penalty clause in Haitham Hassan's contract with Real Oviedo amounts to 10 million pounds sterling, which is considered a large amount as Celtic wants to pay only 4 million pounds sterling.
Haitham Hassan had a penalty clause worth 16 million pounds sterling last season in the Spanish Premier League, but his contract includes a clause that reduces this amount to 10 million pounds sterling in the event of the team's relegation.
Oviedo will also pay 40% of any transfer fees to his former club, Villarreal, as part of his transfer deal two years ago.
The former French youth international player played 37 matches with Oviedo last season, but he was only able to record three decisive passes.
Real Oviedo was relegated to the Spanish Second Division.
