Besiktas Club continues its efforts to sign the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah during the current transfer window, amid the club's administration's desire to conclude the deal quickly, while the player examines all details related to the sports project before making his final decision.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Mohamed Salah held a meeting with technical director Vincenzo Italiano, during which he inquired about the team's plan for the new season, the nature of the expected squad, and the deals the administration is working to conclude, in addition to the goals the club seeks to achieve at both the domestic and European levels.
The newspaper added that the first questions from the Egypt national team captain during the meeting centered on the identity of the players who would form the core of the squad, as he asked: "Who will be in the team?" and "Who will I play with?".
He also requested to know Italiano's technical philosophy, the style of play he intends to implement, as well as the players who might form an attacking partnership with him if the deal is completed.
Reports indicated that the strength of the expected reinforcements and Besiktas's ambition to compete for titles will be among the most prominent factors influencing Salah's decision, at a time when the club's administration continues its contacts to convince the player of the sports project, while working to build a team capable of competing locally and continentally.
