Moroccan press reports revealed Al Ahly management's position regarding dispensing with the services of Reda Slim, the football team player, during the current summer transfer period.
And Reda Slim had spent the past season within the ranks of the Royal Army team on loan, before the Moroccan club began its attempts to retain his services permanently.
According to a report by the Moroccan website "Barlaman Sport", Al Ahly's management rejected the offer submitted by the Moroccan Royal Army to buy Reda Slim's contract permanently during the current summer transfers.
The report stated that the value of the offer submitted by the Royal Army management amounted to 400 thousand dollars, but Al Ahly officials considered that the amount does not match the player's market value.
The report also indicated that Reda Slim strongly desires to return to the ranks of the Royal Army, which may push the player to exert pressure to bring the two clubs' viewpoints closer.

Despite rejecting the first offer, Al Ahly does not object to the principle of the Moroccan winger's departure during the summer transfers, but the Red Castle management stipulates obtaining a financial compensation that matches the player's value.
The report explained that Al Ahly possesses a larger financial offer from one of the Libyan clubs interested in obtaining Reda Slim's services, in addition to interest from some Gulf clubs in contracting with him.
