Reports: Milan and Roma compete for Endrick in January

Via Yallakora

The lack of playing time for promising striker Endrick Felipe at his club, Spanish side Real Madrid, has made him open to a move to another club during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Endrick has already begun attracting interest from several clubs in the upcoming transfer market, with Roma and Milan, who attempted to sign the striker before the start of this season, being the leading candidates to acquire him.

Endrick on Milan and Roma's radar in January

According to the Brazilian newspaper "UOL," the 20-year-old striker has played only four minutes in Real Madrid's eight matches this season.

Endrick is facing fierce competition within the team, so he is seriously considering a mid-season move, similar to what happened when he transferred to French side Lyon, where he shone brightly, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 21 matches.

Milan and Rome remain the top contenders and have already contacted the player's agents. This information was initially published by the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" and recently confirmed by UOL.

Endrick arrived at the 2026 World Cup with great ambition, given his impressive performance with Lyon, but he now sees that Ancelotti demands more playing time for young Brazilian players in Europe.

Ancelotti frustrated by Endrick's lack of appearances

The veteran Italian coach mentioned the promising striker during a press conference in the current international break, emphasizing the need for Endrick to play longer and more regularly.

Ancelotti stated in his media comments: "The problem with young Brazilian players is their immaturity due to a lack of regular match participation; they do not play locally or abroad."

He added: "Look at the cases of Endrick and Estêvão; they left at age 18 or 19 and joined major European clubs, but they did not get an opportunity to play."

Endrick had agreed with Roma during the recent transfer window, but Real Madrid manager José Mourinho requested his stay. The issue now is that Mourinho has not given the young player any opportunity.
