It has been confirmed that Anis Boujelban will remain with the Tunisian Olympic team in the upcoming period.
Anis Boujelban had received an offer from the Tunisian club Étoile Sportive du Sahel to coach the team in the next season.
According to the Tunisian radio station Mosaique, Anis Boujelban will not coach Étoile du Sahel and will continue coaching the Olympic team.
The Tunisian Federation refused to allow Anis Boujelban to terminate his contract in order to take over the coaching of the Étoile Sportive du Sahel at the present time, in view of the upcoming commitments of the Olympic team and its expected participation in the Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026 at the end of next August.
It is worth noting that Anis Boujelban refused to assume the presidency of the talent discovery committee (scouting) at Al Ahly Club; due to not obtaining the federation's approval for his departure.
Boujelban had previously worked as a coach for Al-Masry Port Said Club in the past season, and he also coached the Tunisian club ES Jerjis.
Anis Boujelban wore the Al Ahly jersey from 2007 until 2009, when he came from the Tunisian club CS Sfaxien.
