French press reports have revealed the latest developments regarding the injury of French forward Kylian Mbappé, who plays for Real Madrid, and his status concerning a return to the pitch in the upcoming period, amid important matches awaiting the Royal Club.
Mbappé was injured during France's match against Turkey in the UEFA Nations League, which ended with Les Bleus winning by one goal to nil. Subsequently, Real Madrid announced that he had suffered an injury to the hamstring in his left leg.
As is customary, Real Madrid did not specify the duration of Mbappé's absence, merely stating that the progress of his condition would be subject to further evaluation.
The newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" clarified that several specialist doctors from outside Real Madrid estimated the recovery period for this type of injury at approximately two weeks maximum, which could cast doubt on Mbappé's participation in the match against Villarreal on October 10.
Real Madrid is not rushing Mbappé's return
The newspaper indicated that Real Madrid does not seem to be in a hurry regarding the return of its French striker, which explains why he has not yet appeared at the team's training facility in Valdebebas.
It added that most of what has been circulated about Mbappé in recent days was not related to his physical condition, but rather to his appearance at an event held in Paris, where he was seen accompanied by his famous actress girlfriend.
Following the controversy sparked by this matter, the newspaper noted that the club clarified that Mbappé's movements are approved by the technical and medical staff, and that his presence in Madrid will not necessarily accelerate his recovery from the injury.
