English press reports have revealed that Egyptian international Omar Marmoush, Manchester City player, is preparing to hold decisive talks with his English club to determine his future, amid growing interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, alongside a number of German league clubs.

The English website TEAMtalk explained that Marmoush, who joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for around £60 million, saw his appearances decline during the second half of last season, after playing only 8 matches in the Premier League.

The site added that Tottenham and Newcastle have already inquired about the player's situation, while several German clubs are monitoring his status, benefiting from the strong reputation he gained during his time with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The site indicated that Marmoush is not in a hurry to leave, as he and his agents await a meeting with Manchester City's new manager Enzo Maresca to learn about his role in the team's project for the next season.

According to the report, if Maresca confirms that Marmoush will be among the core squad members, the Egyptian player prefers to stay and compete for his place, but if securing regular playing time remains difficult, he will be open to considering offers made to him.

The site concluded by noting that Tottenham seeks to bolster its attacking line, while Newcastle has the financial capacity to make new signings, which puts both clubs on alert for any developments regarding Marmoush's future with Manchester City.
