Ashraf Dari returned to Al-Ahly's ranks after the end of his loan with Swedish Kalmar.
The Moroccan site Barlaman Sport revealed that Al-Ahly's management reached an agreement with Ashraf Dari stipulating that it would cover his salary during the upcoming period until an agreement is reached with a new club.
This comes amid Al-Ahly's management intensifying its contacts to market the Moroccan defender this summer.
Ashraf Dari is under contract with Al-Ahly until the summer of 2028.
Dari suffered from recurring injuries during his career with Al-Ahly.
The 26-year-old Dari fell out of Al-Ahly's technical calculations and joined Kalmar on loan until the end of last season, but he remains under contract with the team until the summer of 2028.
The 26-year-old joined Al-Ahly at the beginning of last season coming from French Brest before moving to Kalmar on loan.
The Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari joined Al-Ahly last season but did not participate much with the Reds due to recurring injuries, so he left on loan in January to Swedish club Kalmar.
Dari played 9 matches with Kalmar in the Swedish league without missing any match throughout his loan period.
The Moroccan defender succeeded in scoring a goal with his Swedish team and missed the last round after the end of his loan.
Dari participated in 7 matches wearing Al-Ahly's jersey since the beginning of last season, including 3 during the current stoppage in the Egypt Capital Cup and Egypt Cup.
Dari missed 16 matches during the season with Al-Ahly due to injury.
