The American club Sporting Kansas City has entered the circle of those interested in signing the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah during the current summer transfer period, according to what English press reports have revealed.

The English newspaper The Athletic explained that Sporting Kansas City has become the most prominent of the Major League Soccer clubs interested in signing the captain of the Egyptian national team, although completing the deal remains complicated due to the interest of Saudi League clubs, in addition to Salah's desire to continue his career inside Europe.

The newspaper pointed out that Salah does not close the door to a move to the American league in the future, while the American club continues its moves within the framework of an ambitious project to bolster its ranks with major deals during the current summer.

The report added that Peter Maluk, the new owner of Sporting Kansas City, is the son of Egyptian immigrants, which strengthens the club's interest in attempting to sign the Egyptian national team captain.

The report concluded by affirming that Salah's future remains open to several possibilities, amid interest from Europe, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, without his next destination having been determined yet.
