The competent authorities decided to refer Zamalek club player Ahmed Fattouh to trial in the incident accusing him of selling a Bentley car to a car dealer, despite obstacles that prevented the transfer of its ownership, following the report submitted by the dealer regarding the incident.
A car dealer filed a report accusing Ahmed Fattouh of selling the car for 7 million and 500 thousand pounds, explaining that he agreed to purchase it and paid 6 million pounds as a down payment, with the remaining amount of 1 million and 500 thousand pounds to be paid upon completion of registration procedures and ownership transfer.
The complainant added that he was surprised by the inability to register the car after it was revealed that there were debts, fines, and due installments on it estimated at around 10 million pounds, which prevented the completion of ownership transfer procedures.
Fattouh had participated with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup tournament.
Fattouh contributed to qualifying the Egyptian national team to the round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup tournament.
