The Egyptian national team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, continues its training sessions as part of its preparatory camp ahead of the matches against Angola and South Sudan in the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.
The Egyptian national team held its second training session at the National Teams Center in preparation for the matches against Angola and South Sudan, scheduled for September 25 and 29 respectively, in the first and second rounds of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Details of the Egyptian National Team's Training Session
The training session, held on Friday evening, began with physical warm-ups, followed by technical drills conducted by the coaching staff, and concluded with a practice match.
Participants in the training session included Mostafa Shobeir, Al-Mahdi Soliman, Mohamed Alaa, Abdelaziz Belhouti, Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Fathouh, Marwan Attia, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Emam Ashour, Ali Mahmoud, Mostafa Ziko, and Mahmoud Saber.
Meanwhile, Karim Hafez, Mohand Lashin, and Tarek Alaa performed recovery exercises.
On another note, the training session featured a practice match in which Hossam Hassan's team, comprising Al-Mahdi Soliman, Mohamed Hany, Emam Ashour, Mostafa Ziko, and Saber, defeated the team of Mohamed Abdelwahed, Mohamed Alaa, Belhouti, Ahmed Fathouh, Zizo, and Ali Mahmoud.

The training session was attended by Hany Abou Rida, Chairman of the Football Association Board, Hamada El-Sharabiny, Board Member, and Mostafa Azam, Secretary-General of the Association.
The national team is scheduled to hold another training session at 9:00 PM on Saturday at the National Teams Center.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian national team will face South Africa in a friendly match on October 4, following their qualifier matches against Angola and South Sudan.
