Media personality Hany Hat-hout revealed on "On Sport FM" radio the reasons behind Emad El-Nahas's departure from coaching Al-Masry Port Said team.
Al-Masry Port Said club officially announced the departure of coach Emad El-Nahas from leading the team after three rounds of the current 2026-2027 Egyptian Premier League season.
Reasons for El-Nahas's Departure from Al-Masry
Hat-hout stated on his radio program on "On Sport FM": "Emad El-Nahas's departure was a decision made by Al-Masry's management following the accumulation of several disputes, and not a resignation on his part at this time."
He added: "The reasons were as follows: differences in viewpoints regarding transfers, incoming and outgoing players, and Emad El-Nahas's refusal to sign Gradisar, despite an agreement between Al-Ahly and Al-Masry administrations on the deal."
He continued: "He requested the departure of Omied Sawafteh, the Jordanian national team player, despite Al-Masry management's insistence on retaining him, in addition to a dispute with the administration due to Emad El-Nahas's desire for his son to continue training with the team until January."
He further stated: "The administration's dissatisfaction with the technical performance against Smouha, despite achieving victory; some players' complaints regarding technical matters reaching the administration; the administration's lack of conviction in the team's performance against El-Mokawloon El-Arab despite the win; and the loss against Pyramids FC, although the administration believed the opponent's level allowed for either a draw or a victory."
Hat-hout concluded: "The accumulation of the aforementioned disputes prompted the board of directors to take an immediate decision to implement a technical change and reach an agreement with Emad El-Nahas on his departure."
