Real Madrid Club denied its intention to sign Argentine Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea's midfielder.

Real Madrid revealed in an official statement today, Friday: "In light of the reports and statements that have appeared in recent days regarding an alleged interest from Real Madrid in the player Enzo Fernandez, the club would like to clarify that it has not made any effort, either directly or indirectly, to sign the mentioned player, nor does it intend to undertake such an operation."
The statement added, "Real Madrid would like to express the utmost respect for Enzo Fernandez, whose career and quality are widely renowned, as well as for Chelsea, the club with which it has an excellent institutional relationship."
The royal club continued, "Out of respect for an entity like Chelsea Football Club, and from the principles of institutional loyalty that have always governed Real Madrid's actions, the club finds it necessary to categorically deny the baseless speculations that do not align with reality."
The statement concluded, "Real Madrid regrets that despite the clarity of the facts and the lack of any action from the club, information continues to be published that does not align with reality, only contributing to confusion among fans and causing unnecessary harm to the entities and individuals involved."
Enzo played 169 matches with Chelsea, scoring 31 goals and assisting 30 others.
Previous English reports mentioned that the London club set an initial amount of 140 million euros to relinquish his services.
