Press reports confirmed that the Spanish club Real Madrid reached an agreement to sign the Ivorian international Yan Diomande, winger of the German club Leipzig.
The 19-year-old player holds a contract with the German club until June 2030.

Fabrizio Romano, the journalist specializing in transfer market news, stated via his account on the "X" platform that an agreement was reached between Real Madrid and Leipzig for more than 100 million euros to sign the Ivorian winger.
Romano added that the Ivorian winger will travel to Madrid this week to undergo medical examinations and sign the contract until June 2031.
Romano continued that Florentino Perez, president of the Royal Club, decided to do everything in his power to give Portuguese Jose Mourinho, the new technical director of the Merengue, what he wants.
The Ivorian player played 36 matches with the German team in all competitions last season, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists.
The Ivorian star joined Leipzig from Spanish side Leganes for 20 million euros in the summer of 2025.
