Real Madrid presents a new offer to Vinicius

Via Yallakora

Real Madrid club continues its moves to settle the future of its Brazilian star Vinicius Junior, amid the complexity of contract renewal negotiations and the interest of a number of European clubs in obtaining his services.

Vinicius joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 from Brazilian club Flamengo, and his current contract runs until the summer of 2027, i.e., the end of next season, after it was previously renewed in 2023.

Over the past months, Real Madrid has made several attempts to renew Vinicius's contract, which has already reached its final year, but the negotiations have encountered several setbacks due to disagreements over financial matters, coinciding with Arsenal's interest in signing him.

According to what "ESPN" network reported, Real Madrid has submitted an improved offer to the player to resume negotiations, at a time when negotiations still need to bridge the gap in views regarding the financial compensation and the terms of the new contract.

The report indicates that Real Madrid is offering the Brazilian star an annual salary of 22 million euros, but a large financial gap remains, as Vinicius insists on receiving approximately 30 million euros annually.

Vinicius's agents are demanding that he receive a salary commensurate with his status within the team, given his prominent role in recent years and being one of Real Madrid's most important stars.
