Real Madrid is finalizing the last touches on the deal to sign the Ivorian Yan Diomande, the star of Leipzig, to the extent that the official announcement of his joining the Royal Club is imminent.
Diomande, who is 19 years old, received interest from many major European clubs this summer, led by Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Manchester City, before Real Madrid intervened and won the deal.
For its part, the Spanish newspaper "AS" mentioned that one of Real Madrid's most prominent summer deals has become almost settled, despite some details remaining pending, such as the exchange of documents, but they do not affect the essence of the deal.
It indicated that Real Madrid agreed with the German club to sign Diomande for a value ranging between 115 and 120 million euros.
The relationship with Diomande's representatives was quick and fruitful, as the Ivorian star is represented by the same agency that manages the affairs of Vinicius Junior, the Merengue star, and therefore there is regular and smooth communication between the two parties.
The Spanish newspaper added that an agreement has already been reached with Diomande on the salary and the number of seasons, and nothing remains but signing the contract only.
"AS" explained that Real Madrid may announce the deal officially tomorrow, Monday, and thus Diomande will not have to join Leipzig's training camp for the new season.
And after the deal is officially completed, Diomande will become the fifth player to join Real Madrid this summer after Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva, and Denzel Dumfries.
