Real Madrid announces the departure of Fran Gonzalez to Sevilla

Real Madrid announced in an official statement allowing its player Fran Gonzalez to leave the team's ranks during the current summer transfer window.

The club confirmed that the player will join Sevilla after many negotiations between the two parties recently.

Real Madrid said in its statement: "Real Madrid Club and Sevilla Club have agreed on the transfer of our player Fran Gonzalez".

He added: "Fran Gonzalez joined Real Madrid in 2022 at the age of seventeen and was part of the youth academy for four seasons. He made his debut with the first team in 2025".

He continued: "Real Madrid will always remain his home, and we thank him for his work and dedication throughout these years".

The club concluded: "Our club wishes Fran Gonzalez and his family all the best in this new stage of his life".

In another context, Real Madrid's team enters its preparatory camp for the next season under the leadership of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, as the Merengues aim to return to international competitions after failing to win any title in the past season under the leadership of Alvaro Arbeloa.
