Foreign press reports have revealed the status of Barcelona star Raphinha regarding his team's match against Getafe, scheduled as part of the La Liga competition.
Barcelona will face Getafe at 7:30 PM on October 10th at Camp Nou, in the eighth round of La Liga.
Raphinha raised some concerns after being substituted during halftime of his last match with the Brazilian national team; he left the Samba camp and arrived in Barcelona yesterday to undergo necessary examinations.
Spanish radio station Cadena SER reported that Raphinha is not suffering from any injury currently, and has become ready to participate in the upcoming match against Getafe.
It clarified that the Barcelona striker underwent new examinations this morning, Friday, after returning from international duty with the Brazil national team, which confirmed he is free of any injury, so he will be ready for the Getafe match.
Cadena SER concluded: "The examinations ruled out any injury, therefore Raphinha will be available to coach Hansi Flick for the Getafe match, just like Eric Garcia and Joan Garcia."
Raphinha has been Barcelona's starting striker since the beginning of the current season, proving his worth in that position by scoring 14 goals and providing 3 assists, playing a prominent role in securing several matches for Barça.
Barcelona tops the La Liga standings with 21 points, while Getafe occupies the 11th place with 8 points.
