Rachid Taoussi, the former technical director of the Moroccan national team, praised Hussein Amouta's experience with Al-Ahly Club, affirming that the Moroccan coach has had distinguished experiences prior to taking charge of Al-Ahly.
Taoussi stated in remarks on "On Sport" channel: "Hussein Amouta has extensive experience in Morocco and the Gulf region, and he is currently undertaking an experience with one of the best teams in Africa, in a country that loves football. Amouta is the right person to lead Al-Ahly at present and will contribute significantly to the club."

He added: "I was impressed by Amouta's leadership during the Barcelona versus Al-Ahly match; he delivered a good performance, especially in the second half, and his substitutions made a difference in Al-Ahly's performance throughout the game."
He continued: "There were justifications for Al-Ahly's performance in the first league match, and they showed a strong reaction after falling behind in the score. Any coach of Amouta's caliber would be honored to lead Al-Ahly, along with players of such exceptional quality."
He further stated: "Sofiane Benjdida is skillful and can play both inside and outside the box. He can be utilized in multiple positions, and this type of player is sought after by any coach because they are capable of making a difference at any moment."
He added: "I have coached Benjdida and I know his capabilities well. Despite his short stature, he can score with his head. Moreover, he is a polite and respectful player."
He concluded: "Sofiane Benjdida will be among Al-Ahly's top scorers and goal creators as well. I wish him success, as well as success for Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team."
