The friendly match between Pyramids and the Iranian Persepolis, through which "Al-Samawi" is preparing to participate in the new season under the leadership of coach Rolani Mokwena, ended with a clean goal victory for the Iranian team.

In the 77th minute, there was a counterattack from a Persepolis player who shot from outside the penalty area, hitting Pyramids' defense and reaching easily into the hands of Mahmoud Gad, Pyramids' goalkeeper.
The Iranian team opened the scoring in the 87th minute of the match, from a powerful header by the team's Congolese striker Tievie Bifouma after a fine corner, announcing Persepolis' first goal of the match after the ball passed over Mahmoud Gad.
The match between the two sides ended with Pyramids' defeat by a clean goal in the first match through which the team is preparing for the new season, under the leadership of the South African Mokwena.
