Rolani Mokwena, the technical director of Pyramids, confirmed that the club's management is working to strengthen the team's ranks during the ongoing summer transfer period, indicating that the focus is on concluding offensive deals.
Rolani Mokwena said in statements to a South African radio station: "Pyramids deals? Fortunately, the club agrees with us, and we are on the same page, so the transfer goals for us are very clear.. It is true that the striker, Fiston Mayele has left, but we have a strong team."
The South African coach added: "We need to improve in certain positions, especially in the forward line in the striker position, but the club is aligned with us, and we think the same way, and we are discussing a good number of strikers."
He continued: "We are trying to look at what suits us, because it is important that we know how we want to play, and how we want to develop the team, while recognizing the type of players who succeed in the Egyptian league and the African Champions League, and who succeed at Pyramids."
He added: "There are some indicators, and the club's management knows these indicators better than I do, so we are working together, and we have a first-class sporting director."
Rolani Mokwena concluded his statements by saying: "We also have a very good director of acquisitions, and the management is working around the clock to try to get us the best options to strengthen and improve the squad."
