Press reports revealed that Pyramids Club submitted a financial offer to obtain the services of player Asad Al-Hamlawi from the ranks of Universitatea Craiova team, during the current summer transfer season.
According to the Romanian newspaper "Prosport", Craiova Club received a huge offer from Pyramids Club to conclude the Hamlawi deal this summer.
It explained that Pyramids Club, runner-up in the Egyptian League 2025/26, is seeking to sign the Palestinian international player for 5 million euros.
Hamlawi missed the preliminary round match of the UEFA Champions League against Levski Sofia due to injury, and will not be available for the return leg on July 29 either.

It pointed out that Hamlawi could be the focus of an excellent transfer deal before returning to the pitch after recovering, after the club received a financial offer from Pyramids.
It reported that negotiations between the two clubs are very advanced, and some details are still being finalized, namely those related to bonuses, as the Romanian club will receive an additional amount based on playing minutes and performance.
It based this on a source that, given the negotiations have reached very advanced stages, the official announcement of Hamlawi's transfer to Pyramids could be made by the end of this week, unless any urgent developments occur.
Negotiations began more than a week ago, according to the same source, and accelerated in recent days, knowing that no final agreement has been reached yet, but things are going well currently.
Hamlawi's departure will represent a major loss for Craiova, where he scored 18 goals and provided 4 assists in 51 matches, but at the same time it is a major financial gain for the club after they bought him for only one million euros from Slask Wroclaw a year ago.
