Pyramids fall to Al-Ahly Bank with a three-goal friendly defeat.

Pyramids FC suffered a defeat against National Bank of Egypt SC by three goals to two in a friendly match between the two teams at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo.

The match came as part of the technical staff's efforts, led by South African Rulani Mokwena, to prepare substitutes before traveling to Kenya to face Gor Mahia in the CAF Champions League.

Pyramids had previously secured a 1-0 victory over Al-Masry Port Said in the third round matches of the Egyptian Premier League at the Suez Stadium.

National Bank of Egypt took the lead in the first half, then Algerian striker Ahmed Nadhir Ben Bouali equalized with a left-footed shot. The bank side regained the lead with a second goal, ending the first half with the visitors ahead 2-1.

In the second half, National Bank of Egypt scored their third goal, before Pyramids pulled one back through a penalty kick converted by Nasser Maher, won by Ahmed Abdel Qader.
