Pyramids FC defeated their hosts, Al-Masry, by a single goal without reply in the match held at the New Suez Stadium as part of the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The only goal of the match came from a powerful header by Ahmed Samy, who converted a cross from his teammate Mohamed El Sheiby into Al-Masry's net in the 11th minute.
With this victory, Pyramids raised their tally to 9 points from 3 matches, topping the league standings, while Al-Masry dropped to fifth place with 6 points.

Al-Masry Club intensified its attacks in an attempt to equalize, varying their attempts between the right flank, left flank, and through the center of the field, but to no avail.
In the 37th minute, Al-Masry created their most dangerous chance when Mohamed Makhlouf took a direct free kick from just outside Pyramids' penalty area, but it struck the crossbar.
In stoppage time of the first half (45+2), Mostafa Fathi struck a wonderful shot with his right foot, but it went over Al-Masry's goal.
In the second half, both teams exchanged attacks, but neither side managed to convert their chances into goals, leaving the score unchanged until the referee blew the final whistle, confirming the away team's victory.
