Real Madrid has become interested in signing a new striker, after Fulham reached an agreement to sign Gonzalo Garcia to bolster their ranks for the next season.
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Real Madrid is interested in signing Carlos Espi, the Levante striker whose move to Hull City in the English league has been halted.
Real Madrid has started planning to sign Espi, who has a contract with Levante until June 2028, and the club is sticking to the release clause in his contract, which amounts to 25 million euros to relinquish his services.
The deal for Espi's transfer to Hull City has now become suspended, despite significant progress between all parties to complete it this summer.
